London Assembly 7 July Review Committee Reports Released

The London Assembly 7 July Review Committee final reports have been released which discuss communication and response to the incidents that day.

Meanwhile, Peter Power from Visor Consultants, the man responsible for running a terror rehearsal drill rehearsing simultaneous bombs going off in precisely the stations they did on the morning of July 7th, when it actually happened right in the middle of his rehearsal (who would credit such a thing if they hadn't previously seen Panorama back in May 2004 when Mr Power was at it again), was interviewed by BBC News 24 following Richard Barnes' press conference and noted, rather interestingly:

"Terror doesn't rely on the bang,
it relies on the fear of the bang
."

Overcome the fear.

No stations were bombed on July 7.
I guess forgetting that fact is more convenient when emphasising the precision.

His words, not mine. And not the first time Peter Power has been responsible for rehearsing bombs on the underground only, last time around, it didn't actually happen for real while he was at it.

But, as you state, 'forgetting that fact is more convenient when emphasising the precision'.

Yes those were his words. You repeated them and featured them on a mock "wanted poster" despite knowing that wasn't what happened simply because it makes it sound more suspicious than what actually happened. I think everyone appreciates this.

And not the first time Peter Power has been responsible for rehearsing bombs on the underground only, last time around, it didn't actually happen for real while he was at it.

Yeah that's his job. The same thing goes for the train drivers on the bombed trains. If you do something 5 days a week chances are you'll be doing it when some event happens.

The point is fair about the train drivers, but where are they all?

The point is not fair about Peter Power. He's MD and chief paper-shuffler/PRopagandist for a Crisis Management company whose business is making a profit and Crisis Management. A profit making crisis management company endeavours to make a profit and manage crises, but it does not rehearse bombs on the Underground five days a week. I'm sure even Mr Power would tell you this now that we apparently live in the NEW NOW. This is, no doubt, why Mr Power goes to great lengths to exploit corporate media opportunities to discuss the bombs of July 7th that so inconveniently happened while he was in the middle of a practice run in which one event in particular was very similar indeed to what really happened.

Abstracting his activities that day, and his role in the BBC's Panorama many months prior to July 7th, to be his sole occupation, is entirely non-sensical. I think everyone appreciates this.

The phrase you use, 'despite knowing what happened' is interesting, paricularly in relation to the events of July 7th and particularly given the lack of any evidence in the public domain that would stand up in a court of law.

Do you know what happened?

Or have you just read a bunch of stories and a half-baked government narrative, just like everyone else?
