If you suspect it, report it

The "It" referred to in the title of this post is, of course, bullsh-it.

Recent political power surges have ensured the appointment of Josef Goebbels as minister for news and propaganda from beyond the grave. Residents of prison ship Britain wake to find themselves living simultaneously in the maelstroms of the occupied territories of Iraq, the occupied territories of Afghanistan and the occupied territories of Palestine, all without the hassle of having to sell their homes in challenging economic times.

- Daily Mail

Terror attack on UK highly likely, says Home Office - Scotsman

'Workers army' trained for counter-terror force - Times Online
All this marks the launch of the long time in the making Contest 2 'anti-terror' strategy of the government, as widely publicised by the housing benefit thief Home Secretary, J'Accuse Smith (no relation to housing benefit thief Employment Minister Tony McNulty).

The publication of the report coincides with a new police campaign to urge Londoners (and nobody else?) to report 'suspicious activity'. Gordon BrNWO was banging on about it in last week's Sunday Observer. For his efforts, as if he wrote the article in question, BrNWO received a good and entirely justified verbal kicking right until the bitter end.

Goebbels' new campaign to reinstate blockleiters comes with a few simple posters issued by the simple police as the cross media marketers are only too aware that people busy losing their homes, savings, pensions, cars and just about everything else they've ever worked for, with no end in sight, probably don't have the time to read lengthy government reports designed to distract from the misery of the material reality of their existences.

One of the posters looks a little something like this, only slightly different (click for larger image):

What the government hasn't [sic] failed to notice in its haste to train 60,000 people to recognise what the ruling classes like to think of as terrorists -- through the use of posters featuring Aryan folk in the foreground, complete with Aryan babies, while a couple of lesser, darker-skinned human beings mill about in the background because, despite everything, they must appear to matter too -- is that the 60 million residents of the UK already learned to recognise terrorists and terrorist activity when they see them.

Handy clues like the mass-murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people is simultaneously a bit of a giveaway and a clincher and it will stand up in an International Criminal Court of law a bit better than black pepper, hair dye and chemical impossibilities, so pretending that hairdressers and chefs and "hardcore antagonists" are terrorists just isn't going to wash any more.

Bullshit - If you suspect it, report it.

Propaganda Coups & PsyOps #101 - The BNP Member List

Quick as a flash, or perhaps even quicker, a complete list of British National Party members -- the useful far-right, Neo-Nazi idiots who insist on waging a race war because, unlike racist bigotry, revolutionary class war is outside the bounds of acceptable mainstream political activity -- appeared on the Internet. And then promptly disappeared.
Blog has been removed

Sorry, the blog at bnpmemberslist.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.

Disappeared, momentarily, before reappearing as a Swedish registered and hosted web site, a text file, a spreadsheet and even an SQL database file, rapidly made searchable by postcode - complete with links to Googlemaps of member locations. There's also Cryptome, LOLGRIFFIN - Nazis. I hate those guys, BNP Near Me, a BNP heat-map, the Guardian going one better with an Interactive Far Right Map of Britain, and the Daily Mash doing what it does best. All this and the requisite levels of cross-media publicity in the blog world, the dead trees, and on the telescreen. The published list apparently includes serving policemen (surprise!), armed forces personnel (surprise!), seven journalists (surprise!), prison officers (surprise!), vicars and, in some cases, entire families! It also features an extra seven people not on the original list.

Little talk of goose-sauce also being good for the gander. Redwatch, paid back in own-goal spades.

Rumour has it that the party's former treasurer, John Walker, might be responsible for the leak. These suspicions are given further weight by the comments of BNP leader, Nick Griffin, as reported in The Times:
"We are pretty sure (we know who leaked it). We had a problem with a very senior former employee who left last year. He was one of the hard-liners I inherited from my predecessor, he didn't like the direction the party was going in, thought it was too moderate, so he broke away taking the list with him."
Given that it is almost the end of the year referred to by Gregorian calendars as 2008, a "senior former employee who left last year" would have had to have left at least 11 months ago. Potentially they may have left any time between 11 and 23 months ago. In the case of Walker, who is also known for leading fuel protests, he left the BNP in August 2007 after some fisticuffs at the BNP's annual Red, White and Blue Farcestival. This is where Griffin's claim gets interesting because, according to the Lancaster Unite Against Fascism blog, "additions to the list are as recent as September of this year".

This is not to convict or absolve John Walker of having leaked the list -- "innocent until proven guilty" still applies to whitey -- but instead to suggest that if he was indeed responsible for the leak, it would have had to have been done with some assistance from inside the existing BNP structure to account for the "as recent as September of this year" additions.

Nick Griffin discusses curtains

In light of this timely release of the BNP membership list, Conspiraloons who recall Sinn Féin party administrator Denis Donaldson might further ponder the potential level of State involvement in / infiltration of the BNP, in line with the State's general levels of involvement in and infiltration of practically any organisations with a vaguely political agenda.

You can almost see how this story might play out in the coming weeks. The list of BNP members went online for ten minutes, which was just long enough for a bunch of 'radicals' and 'extremists' to get hold of it, and soon a few hateful and hate-filled white men will turn up in the 'news' claiming to have been persecuted / beaten up / attacked by the 'radicals' and 'extremists' of the wrong sort, those that might not be quite so supportive of fascism as BNP members. A phone call already allegedly received by one member, as reported by Lancaster UAF, is the first trickle in what has the potential to become a mass media tsunami, complete with fighting in the streets. Maybe even a spectacular on 7/7/2001 7/7/2005 7/7/2009.

British Oppression, the reprise?

--
Meanwhile, in news worth knowing:
One of Britain's most authoritative judicial figures last night delivered a blistering attack on the invasion of Iraq, describing it as a serious violation of international law, and accusing Britain and the US of acting like a "world vigilante".
....
Governments were bound by international law as much as by their domestic laws, he said. "The current ministerial code," he added "binding on British ministers, requires them as an overarching duty to 'comply with the law, including international law and treaty obligations'."
....
Addressing the British Institute of International and Comparative Law last night, Bingham said: "If I am right that the invasion of Iraq by the US, the UK, and some other states was unauthorised by the security council there was, of course, a serious violation of international law and the rule of law.

"For the effect of acting unilaterally was to undermine the foundation on which the post-1945 consensus had been constructed: the prohibition of force (save in self-defence, or perhaps, to avert an impending humanitarian catastrophe) unless formally authorised by the nations of the world empowered to make collective decisions in the security council ..."

Global Survey says 'U.S. behind 9/11'

Survey proves global warming has fried brains the world over

The explanation for the shocking, stunning and, frankly, chilling-to-the-marrow headline which, it almost goes without saying, has absolutely no basis in any sort of reality that any sane individual would want any part of is, of course, that everyone surveyed for the poll is a wild-eyed yelling Conspiraloon™ who should immediately be tasered and "taken to one of those secret prisons in Eastern Europe, never to be heard from again".

Who is Morgan Tsvangarai's Guardian ghost-writer?

Yesterday the Guardian published a letter by Morgan Tsvangarai, "leader of the Movement for Democratic Change in Zimbabwe", which urged international leaders to back their rhetoric with military intervention.

Why I am not running
Morgan Tsvangirai

My people are at breaking point. World leaders' bold rhetoric must be backed with military force

...
Our call now for intervention seeks to challenge standard procedure in international diplomacy.
...
We envision a more energetic and, indeed, activist strategy. Our proposal is one that aims to remove the often debilitating barriers of state sovereignty, which rests on a centuries-old foundation of the sanctity of governments, even those which have proven themselves illegitimate and decrepit.
...
We do not want armed conflict, but the people of Zimbabwe need the words of indignation from global leaders to be backed by the moral rectitude of military force. Such a force would be in the role of peacekeepers, not trouble-makers. They would separate the people from their oppressors and cast the protective shield around the democratic process for which Zimbabwe yearns.
...
All well and good and some moral justification for yet another U-SUK led invasion of a far off land for profit. Except, today, Tsvangarai's article no longer exists on the Guardian web site, although it is cached here. And, while the article itself has disappeared, that didn't stop its central meme -- that of Tsvangarai calling for military intervention in Zimbabwe -- making its way into the Washington Post.

More curious still the little twist in the story that Morgan himself has added to what appeared to be his call for a invasion of Zimbabwe:
An article that appeared in my name, published in the Guardian (Why I am not running, June 25), did not reflect my position or opinions regarding solutions to the Zimbabwean crisis. Although the Guardian was given assurances from credible sources that I had approved the article this was not the case.
...
By way of clarification I would like to state the following: I am not advocating military intervention in Zimbabwe by the UN or any other organisation.

A number of questions arise about the original alleged Tsvangarai article in yesterday's Guardian, here's a few of them.
  • From whence did the original and now removed Tsvangarai article come?
  • Who were the 'credible sources' that advised the Guardian Tsvangarai had approved the article?
  • How did the Guardian verify the article's approval?
  • Who at the Guardian approved the publication of the original article?
Thus far, the Guardian has offered no explanation as to how an article by Morgan Tsvangarai managed to pass all its vetting and editorial processes to appear in the paper, only to be denounced the following day by its apparent author as not reflecting his opinion or position regarding what is to be done in Zimbabwe.

If you were still labouring under the misapprehension that the majority of the 'news' is in fact actually 'news', rather than a considerable amount of propaganda presented as 'news', perhaps you might want to reconsider your position.

In the meantime, the Guardian has a little explaining to do.

BBC Pre Christmas Specials

Stop press: BBC does something vaguely useful for a change documenting, in part, the bullying, threats and intimidation tactics used against the Black Irish Muslim community by MI5/MI6 and exposes the fraudulent 'research' of Reich Right Wing Stink Think Tanks.

First up, Newsnight on Policy Exchange and the widely-touted allegations about 'extremist' literature in Mosques based on the latest, highly scientific, bleeding-edge Policy Exchange research techniques that go a little something like this:
  1. Decide the results and conclusions of the 'investigation'

  2. Fabricate token items of evidence to make it appear as if some research has been done

  3. Wax lyrical about the 'research', results and conclusions and hope that nobody thinks to check the evidence

In the case of Policy Exchange, Newsnight checked the evidence and scuppered PE's pernicious plans.

Newsnight Policy Exchange Exposé Part 1/3

Newsnight Policy Exchange Exposé Part 2/3

Newsnight Policy Exchange Exposé Part 3/3

Osama Saeed noted:
Edinburgh Central Mosque was one of those fingered by the [Policy Exchange] report. I said at the time that the mosque had no idea how this literature was supposed to be on their premises. A strange thing then happened a week or two later. A stash of the pamphlets in question were dropped just inside the doorway to the mosque. No one has any idea how they appeared there, as certainly none of the mosque authorities ordered them. Someone clearly outside dumped them, and they are currently investigating who that could be. Unfortunately, BBC Scotland, including Newsnight Scotland, did report Policy Exchange's "findings".

People at the mosque were smelling a rat at the time, and that will now just intensify in the light of the Newsnight report.
Pamphlets that magically appear inside Mosques to support far-right propaganda masquerading as research leads nicely on to Radio 4's recent broadcast about some of the tactics employed by the 'intelligence' services MI5 and MI6 in their efforts to manufacture from Muslims the same sort of thing they had a heavy hand in manufacturing during the Irish 'troubles', just as the 'only' suspect in the Omagh bomb attack, Sean Hoey, was cleared of all 56 charges -- including the murders of 29 people:
Recruiting Muslim Spies
First aired: Tuesday 18 December 2007 20:00-20:40 (Radio 4 FM)
Repeated: Sunday 23 December 2007 17:00-17:40 (Radio 4 FM)

Since the advent of home-grown Islamist terrorism, Britain's intelligence services have urgently sought better information from within the UK's Muslim communities. But, as reporter Tazeen Ahmad finds out, their attempts to recruit informants are alienating many young British Muslims who say the tactics are making it more difficult to obtain the information the intelligence services seek.

Listen again to this programme
When you're done watching and listening to that little lot, you might want to cast your eyes over the latest report from the perversely named Centre for Social Cohesion, "Hate on the State: How British libraries encourage Islamic extremism". Not.

Peter Power spills the beans on his 7/7 terror rehearsal

On the afternoon of 7th July 2005, information came to light about a private company running a terror rehearsal operation, featuring 'mock broadcasts', in London at the same time that real explosions were reported to have occurred on the transport network.

These revelations came not from an anonymous source but instead from the Managing Director of the private firm running the terror rehearsal operation. The private firm is Visor Consultants and the Managing Director in question is ex-Metropolitan Police man, Peter Power. The client for whom the terror rehearsal was being organised is, thus far, unknown.

In an interview broadcast on the afternoon of 7th July 2005, as part of BBC Radio Five Live's Drivetime programme, Peter Power said:
...at half-past nine this morning we were actually running an exercise for, er, over, a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing upright!
It is worth noting that it was two full days before the Metropolitan Police advised the world about 'almost simultaneous' explosions on the Underground, a 'fact' which they announced on 9th July 2005. Only ex-Mossad chief, Efraim Halevi -- an old schoolboy network Clove Club chum of Lord Levy of Cashpoint, Gongs and Ks -- who wrote in the Jerusalem Post on 7th July 2005 of "the multiple, simultaneous explosions that took place today on the London transportation system" with "near pefect execution" was able to demonstrate the same level of 'insight' as Power. Halevi is now Special Advisor to private security firm, Quest, where he sits alongside the Chairman, ex-Metropolitan Police Commisioner Lord Sir John Stevens of Kirkwhelpton. Stevens also happened to oversee Operation Crevice during his watch and was the first person to announce to the world, via the News of the World on 10th July 2005, the notion of 'home grown' Islamic terrorists. Spectacular how far ahead of the game of the police all these ex-Met folk are, especially when considering the fact that, only two days earlier, Sir Ian Blair had said at a press conference, "I'm not saying there are four bombers."

When quizzed about his activities on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Sunday Night programme a few days later, Power said:
It's a coincidence, and it's a spooky coincidence. Our scenario was very similar - it wasn't totally identical, but it was based on bombs going off, to the time, the locations, all this sort of stuff.

Since 7th July 2005 Power has had lots to say about a lot of things, mainly via the BBC State broadcasting corporation's radio and television media, inlcuding BBC Radio Five Live, Newsnight, News 24, BBC World and a few others. He is happy to wax lyrical at every opportunity about the official story of 7/7 and the repeatedly discredited Home Office narrative, the execution of Jean Charles de Menezes and 90 days internment, the latter of which he will advocate at great length as long as the targets for internment happen to be anyone that isn't a white-haired old lady from Tunbridge Wells.

At last, after two and a half years, Peter Power has broken his silence about his 7/7 terror rehearsal activities which were, "based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened".

You can watch the full We Are Change interview with Peter Power below.

Quite an impressive response from the UK's Mr Terror Rentaquote, who usually has plenty to say about anything that is likely to increase the profits of private security firms like his very own Visor Consultants.

You can read a detailed compilation of information about Peter Power and his activities on, before and after 7th July 2005 here on the web site of J7: The July 7th Truth Campaign.

The sounds of silence and the persistence of time

Anything that defies my sense of reason has, since the posting of a translation of Gianfranco Sanguinetti’s near-faultless On Terrorism and the State article, been dormant. There are several reasons for this. One is that of an absence of time to do justice to the abundance of subjects about which to write, rant, and endeavour to provide some “value-add” for regular readers and countless other people who land here searching the Internet for their version of 'my sense'. Another reason for the silence results from being occupied with one or two other projects that have been demanding inordinate amounts of time and attention, that continue to be works in progress and that, while progressing steadily, appear yet to have no end, despite extremely positive results in the smaller battles that comprise the greater war.

This part routine, part self-imposed, blog dormancy is also due to there existing little left to say about the state of the world in which we live that hasn’t already been covered by Sanguinetti’s pamphlet, or in some other form on this blog. Re-application of Sanguinetti’s words to the particular intersection of time and space of anyone in the continuum of now requires no more than a modicum of ingenuity combined with sufficient understanding of the history of humanity to inspire a personalised and updated reinterpretation of the work, using no more than minor amendments to the names of people, places and things. (See also Athenaeum’s excellent treatise on the subject which is long overdue a response of some sort from yours truly, for which, Athenaeum, apologies.) The various writings on this blog (which enters its fifth year of existence at 10:39am tomorrow morning) cover the yearly cycle of perennial news stories since the blog’s inception as the news stories loop around again, this time requiring even less ingenuity to adapt and render transparent. Barely any of the nouns have changed.

Perennial, cyclic, looping news. Round and round it goes. Where it stops, rather than “nobody knows”, most people can now place a more educated guess than ever before and be more likely to be right in their assumption than at any point ever before in history. Pandora’s box of historical untruths, mythical fallacies and blatant falsehoods that must be maintained and perpetuated at all costs has, after nigh-on two millennia of ongoing suppression, had a large dose of TATP taken to it, hastily prepared from the most base of instructions on the Internet, including a set of A-level chemistry revision notes, chapatti flour, and a dash of hair lotion – a 100% guaranteed non-explosive mix of ingredients which, while sufficient to earn multiple convictions and extended life sentences for young Muslim men at the greatest pleasure of Her Majesty, is, somehow, inadequate to make a charge of conspiracy to cause explosions to stick in the case of the 21/7 bombers with no bombs where -- despite causing no explosions, having no explosives, having no intention to cause any explosions, and having no possible way of murdering anyone -- in the timeless, anachronistic and ongoing case of Regina Vs. the sub-human under-classes not bestowed with the divine right of (the poppy crowns of) kings, convictions and lifelong sentences, like alleged suicide bombers themselves, can be manufactured out of the blue.

Perennial, cyclic, looping news. A repeated meme, a nuance, a nuisance. It requires little from its consumers other than the ability to forget everything that went before it, anything that was ever said, or known, as well as anything that McCann possibly be known about anything, together with a dedication to the deaf, dumb and blind acceptance of whatever reality the hologram generator in the corner of the room conjures for you today. This requirement for complete submission to absolute vacuity has long been amply filled by those who have neither the time nor the inclination, nor the wit nor wisdom, to contemplate anything other than that which the Corporo-fascist Statist media wishes to present.

Since the advent of the Internet, however, and the mushrooming availability of information – both good and bad, sometimes referred to as the “information revolution” -- this paradigm is changing exponentially more rapidly than the tiny minority of legislators, ban-ers, and suppressors of information in the dominator culture of physical and metaphysical capitalist imperialism could conceive in their worst nightmares. The war is on. It’s a never-ending war of terror and it is being waged on truth, on information, on knowledge, on knowing and, more importantly, on people.

It is often said that the first casualty of war is truth (and journalism), yet this presupposes that truth is somehow a feature of life without war. In the long war, truth from official and semi-official organs has been prohibited. Journalists merely regurgitate State-issued edicts in sensationalist, idiot-friendly form with barely an acknowledgement of history or context. Empty-headed posturing, backed by the new, now-normalised 24x7 barbarity of a gangster State near you, becomes the order of the day, courtesy of the cult of celebrity, sheen and spin where the personal is the political, and where class politics is not even a dim and distant memory as, for at least a generation, it was never even known to exist. In times such as these it becomes increasingly difficult to swallow and digest the posturings of traditional mainstream commentators or the so-called 'left' and ‘radical’ journalists because you know precisely where they're going to start, where they're going to end and every point they'll visit in between. The same applies to the ‘centre’, ‘right-wing’, and ‘libertarian’ writers and there are rarely any examples, if any, of writers and journalists whose criticism and challenging of authority ever ends up anywhere other than within the two goalposts that have been strategically placed for everyone to aim at. Challenge the symptoms, not the cause. The song remains the same.

Whenever this dire State of Affairs is reached at any point in history, truth, journalism, and more importantly, radical journalism that genuinely challenges the status quo – like Magicicada – goes underground for a while in order to ensure its survival. For some years none of these attributes are perceptible in anything. Little makes much sense, everything is disconnected from everything else and everyone is aware that something isn’t quite right with the myriad of pictures being painted by the Red, White and Blue branded hologram generators that manufacture a world that bears little resemblance to the daily reality of those who elect to bathe in the myopic, miasmic, Murdochian light of the hologram's version of 'reality'.

The information revolution happened and is continuing to happen and humanity is outgrowing the archaic, anachronistic and illegitimate institutions of authority and control by which it has for too long been oppressed. The little legitimacy possessed by the oppressors and their propagandists has been removed through a combination of their own actions and an ever more rapid evolution of the collective consciousness of the oppressed audience. The emperor never did have any clothes, still doesn't, and everybody knows it. The spectacle is no longer spectacular.

The reign of the knowledgeable white, middle-class commentator has ended. The audience is now standing on the shoulders of all the political, intellectual, philosophical and scientific giants that have gone before them. The knowledge and wisdom handed down through the ages is now part of humanity’s consciousness – it is indexed, cross-referenced, and searchable, and all you need is access to a device such as the electronic wonder of gadgetry that facilitated your reading of this piece. The Chomskies, Cockburns, Monbiots et al, and their equivalents in the blog world -- where everyone is a winner -- are all now only as good as whatever they last served up, which, if not up to scratch, chisels away at whatever reputation might once have been. Insult the intelligence of your audience and you’re unlikely to get a second chance. Avoid the crux of the issue and the same applies.

Each and every fact, idea, and meme put out is now verifiable or refutable by anyone that cares to conduct some basic research of their own. This, with a finality as never before is, for an ever growing number of people, pulling back the curtain on the long established system to reveal not a wise and benevolent wizard, but a wizened and frail old man trying for all the world to persuade the slightly bewildered onlookers that they should pay the wizened old man no mind. As with all illusions, distraction, diversion and misdirection only work for so long.

Ride a tube train to CMYK superstardom, wear the badge of perpetual victimhood with a greater sense of pride than Vietnam War veterans might be advised to take in their Purple Heart by a Tavistock Institute counsellor. Click here to lock someone up on an affronted whim because you don't like what they say. Click here to defend freedom of speech and convince yourself that nobody notices the blatant hypocrisy and doublethink required to simultaneously maintain both positions. Click here to save Iraqi collaborators that helped kill 1.2 million (that’s 1,200,000, count ‘em) of their fellow countrymen and worry not about the morality or politics of aiding and abetting war criminals.

Basta!

British Oppression Downing Street protest - the usual suspects strike again

Well, well, well, or not, as the case may be. Friday 15th June appears to have a "Muslim" protest organised at which Muslims are urged to "Respond to the call of Allah and the Messenger." This, apparently, means that Muslims should protest against British Oppression outside Downing Street, although this is likely to have to be outside the fortress gates of Downing Street, rather than immediately outside the front door of number 10, if it even gets that far because Downing Street happens to be part of an exclusion zone that prevents the population of the UK from protesting against anything, much less British Oppression, anywhere near Parliament or Downing Street without first having obtained express permission for so doing. Of course, there is nothing oppressive about having to obtain express permission from the very State against whom you wish to protest, unless it happens in some far off land such as Uzbekistan. Doublethink is good for you and better for your country.

Pickled Politics, aptly named as its politics often appears somewhat pickled, picked up on the forthcoming event earlier this week, and suggested that the protest is being organised by Hizb ut-Tahrir. Curiously though, the post's author noted that there was no information available on which to base such an allegation about who is behind the event, other than circumstantial evidence. A distinct lack of information about something always piques The Antagonist's interest in much the same way as do high-profile individuals who portray themselves to be something other than they really are for profit, publishing deals, and personally and politically expedient self and State serving agendas.

Top billing on the britishoppression.com links list (most of which weren't working) is "Man made law", along with "Anti Islam" both of which subliminally convey the message that British oppression is solely a Muslim issue and that only Muslims are subject to the raft of laws to which every subject in this country is subjected and by which every subject is subjugated. This piqued The Antagonist's interest still further for an approach that portrays Muslims as the sole targets of British oppression denies the history of British imperialism such as we know it to be as well as the material conditions of existence. Yes, Muslims are suffering, and have suffered, at the hands of British and, more recently, American oppression but so too has just about every other race, colour and creed known to man, and that includes the white, working-class British people more commonly referred to as 'chavs' and 'hoodies'.

In the last few days posters for the British Oppression protest have started appearing and getting people's backs up in various parts of the UK, including London and Birmingham and it was correct of Pickled Politics' Sunny to pick up on the lack of information about the organisers, although perhaps a little misguided to postulate that the event may be organised by Hizb ut-Tahrir without first conducting some further research.

In fact, a spokesman for Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, Dr Imran Waheed, has expressly denounced the notion that Hizb ut-Tahrir has anything to do with the protest and is quoted in the Birmingham Mail:

"We have no link whatsoever to the material that has been fly-posted in Birmingham. We believe that the posting of such material damages community relations and does nothing to create harmony between the city's residents. In Birmingham our activists work in the local community, encouraging the people of Birmingham to speak out against injustice and oppression at home or abroad through peaceful political means."

So, if Hizb ut-Tahrir are not behind the British Oppression protest, who is?

Given that the only information that exists about the organisers of the protest is the domain name on which it appears, britishoppression.com, a littler further investigation is required. A WHOIS query turns up the following:

First off, the Registrant, Administrative and Technical contact details are false. There is no Little Green Terrace in Manchester, nor even a White Road. Nor does Manchester have a postcode of "M90 9JH", although there is an M90 postcode which happens to be Manchester Airport, a place that recently featured in the news as three men were arrested there, allegedly in connection with the events of 7th July 2005. The britishoppression.com site appears to be hosted by Pacific Internet in Hong Kong.

Secondly, note the date on which the domain britishopression.com was registered, 17th April 2007, because rather a lot has happened since and rather a curious lot at that. Despite the domain only being registered for five weeks, and the fact that fly-posters advertising the event have just started to spring up, in the five weeks that has transpired since the domain's registration, the white supremacist, neo-Nazi thugs who stand to benefit from the billed protest almost as much as the State itself have managed to pool their miniscule collective-brain resource in opposition and have rallied together to whip up a "No to British Oppression demonstration" petition addressed to the British Government and Metropolitan Police requesting that the day of action be stopped before it takes place, which is exactly the sort of thing you'd expect them to do.

The date on which the petition opposing the protest was established is not published on the petition but as the britishoppression.com domain was registered on 17th April 2007 it would be safe to assume that it was set-up at some point in the five week period between then and now. In that time, and at the time of writing, the petition has managed to gather a staggering 645 signatures, complete with the usual accompanying barrage of sickening and hideously racist diatribes.

The founder of petition, one Beverley Kerry (beverley.kerry@talk21.com) of Ilkeston, Derbyshire, has a bit of a thing for overtly racist petitions and is also running an "End religion sanctioned animal torture" petition to Asda and Walmart (443 signatures) which cleverly ignores animal torture by the global pharma, cosmetics and traditional animal slaughter industries, as well as an "End Halal" petition to Safeway supermarket (880 signatories). So, it would appear, Mrs Beverley Kerry aka odinsgal88 aka OG -- alleged to have links to the far-right group Combat 18 -- has a considerable problem with Muslims in general. Furthermore, given the similarities between the processes by which both Halal meat and Kosher meat is produced -- a method that involves the draining of animal's blood -- both petitions are, by logical extension, not only anti-Islamic but also anti-Jewish which, again, is precisely the sort of ignorant, blanket, racist nonsense the likes of which only the deficient brains of reactionary, xenophobic, neo-Nazis are capable.

Interestingly, the anti-British Oppression petition suggests that, "this [British Oppression] proposed day of action could lead to re-occurences [sic] of the devastation we saw in the northern towns of England in the summer of 2001 in which countless Muslims were involved in damage and rioting leaving a trail of devastation and a huge bill in their wake." For those with short memories, the rioting referred to was termed the Bradford Riot, a reference to the events that took place on 7th July that year, the Bradford Riot being on 7/7/2001, unlike the other devastation allegedly caused by Muslims, the London bombings, which happened four years later on 7/7/2005. Some coincidence, eh?

While all of this is interesting in and of itself, it doesn't tell us who is behind the British Oppression web site. However, Faisal Haque, writing in his Telegraph blog, A Journey Through British Islam, does and -- surprise, surprise, if you hadn't guessed already -- it's the usual suspects again, namely: Omar Bakri Mohammad, Al-Muhajiroun, Al-Ghurabaa, the Saved Sect and the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, to whom Trevor Abu Omar Brooks Izzadeen also belongs. Based on his findings Haque, quite correct in his analysis, writes:

I believe that this demo is being organised by agent provocateurs who will fuel the Government’s propaganda that the Muslim community is full of ‘radicalised’ hotheads. It will damage community relations and will be used to justify further erosion of the civil liberties of ordinary Muslims and non-Muslims. Judging by the inflammatory postings on the petition website, it is clear that the mere advertising of this demonstration is causing a wave of Islamophobia.

The question that must be asked is how the organisers have managed to secure permission for the demonstration at Downing Street, inside the exclusion zone? I hate to be sceptical, but I wonder whether the Government does not mind such events from taking place, as they can be capitalised on later, as has been seen in the past.

I certainly won’t be attending the demo and would advise my brothers and sisters to completely boycott it.

Not only must the question be asked about how the organisers have managed to secure permission for the demonstration at Downing Street, inside the exclusion zone, the question must also be asked about how racist, neo-nazi groupings have managed to rally 645 people against something that could only have been known about by anyone other than the organisers just five weeks ago, well in advance of the event receiving any publicity, long before the site contained anything more than the front page and a couple of PDFs, and long before Muslims -- in whose name the protest is allegedly being organised -- knew of its existence.

The British Oppression demonstration organised for 15th June 2007 outside Downing Street appears to be a rather clever set-up by those who seek to gain from setting up antagonisms between ordinary human beings on the basis of superficial differences. More correctly it would be a very clever set-up if the people upon whom such confidence tricks are consistently being played weren't already wise to the true nature of the tactics that comprise the State's war on people, tactics which include the State having at its disposal a handful of radical whoevers -- in this case "Muslims" -- whose core business is cropping up and making a lot of noise when it best serves the interests of the State for them to do so.

The British Oppression event and the separatist basis for its organisation is a misdirection of the highest order. Muslims would do well to steer clear of it, as they would do well to steer clear of any other event whose founding premises are based on the same divisive, divide and conquer tactics that seek to segregate people from each other and which only ever serve the interests of the State and never the best interests of the people.

Luckily for the population at large, those elements of the State tasked with pulling off such high profile media stunts have blown almost all of the radical "Muslim" resources at their disposal -- hence the resurgence of Omar Bakri Mohammad and associated groupings and hence why Herr Doktor John Reid is happy to call a State of Emergency that would annihilate everyone's human rights -- as the State endeavours to manufacture from Islam "a threat bigger than Hitler", a threat the magnitude of which only the State itself could ever represent, just as it was Hitler's own fascist state that presented the greatest threat the German people ever faced.

Update: The Cult of the Amateur strikes again as Inayat Bunglawala regurgitates some stuff he read on the Internet, strips it of analysis and meaning and puts it out as the opinion of an 'expert' two weeks after the fact - a form of professional journalism better known as plagiarism. Nor is he the first 'writer' to do so. What a truly septic isle on which we live.

WTC7 & Dutch demolition expert Danny Jowenko

While we're on the subject of September 11th and WTC7, a building that wasn't hit by a plane but just happened to be the third ever steel-framed structure to allegedly collapse owing to fire(s) -- the first two being WTC1 and WTC2 on the day that the laws of physics were inexplicably changed -- here's a video of one of Holland's foremost demolition experts, Danny Jowenko -- who didn't know of WTC7 -- and his observations when shown footage of its collapse on 11th September 2001. The clip is in Dutch with English subtitles.

His reaction is says it all and his credentials appear to be impeccable.

Jane Standley, Jane Stanley, Richard Porter, BBC World News, Saloman Brothers, 47 WTC7 Stor(e)ys & the number 23

As regular readers will know, The Antagonist doesn't have a huge amount of time for the pursuit of 11/9 truth in the UK as, simply put, 11/9 is an issue to which the American people need to find some solutions. Furthermore, we have far more pressing issues of domestic terrorism in the UK to deal with. However, where 11/9 can be of use to anyone anywhere other than America is as an event that informs and advises, and from which lessons can be learned.

On that basis, here's some thoughts on Richard Porter's (head of BBC World news) considered response to the questions that surround how BBC World News managed to report the collapse of the Saloman Brothers WTC7 building almost half an hour before it happened, complete with rolling footage of the 'collapsed' WTC7 building still standing in the background. Porter quoted, responses follow:
Part of the conspiracy?

The 9/11 conspiracy theories are pretty well known by now. The BBC addressed them earlier this month with a documentary, The Conspiracy Files, shown within the UK.

Not true, merely one interpretation of what happened. The programme was under an hour long and a large portion of the programme was dedicated to utter nonsense including looking around Dylan Avery and Jim Fetzer's homes, talking about Dylan Avery's first Radio Shack laptop on which the film Loose Change was born, along with a good unhealthy dose of anti-semitic nonsense to which nobody with any credibility gives any credence, none of which have anything much to do with the events of 11/9, how they happened or who made them happen. The final product is hardly what anyone would call a balanced piece of investigative journalism that 'addressed' alternatives to the official 9/11 conspiracy theory.
Until now, I don't think we've been accused of being part of the conspiracy. But now some websites are using news footage from BBC World on September 11th 2001 to suggest we were actively participating in some sort of attempt to manipulate the audience. As a result, we're now getting lots of emails asking us to clarify our position.

While some people may be using the footage to suggest that the BBC were actively participating in some sort of attempt to manipulate the audience, the point is irrelevant. What is relevant is the simple fact that BBC World News was reporting the collapse of a building that hadn't collapsed, hadn't been hit by a plane and that didn't collapse until half an hour after BBC World said it had, while the building was fully visible in the report about its collapse.

So here goes:

1. We're not part of a conspiracy. Nobody told us what to say or do on September 11th. We didn't get told in advance that buildings were going to fall down. We didn't receive press releases or scripts in advance of events happening.

Press releases and scripts are irrelevant. If nobody fed BBC World the news about a collapsed WTC7, where did the news come from before the event happened? Who came up with the idea of announcing a building that was still standing had collapsed? Jane Standley? A BBC World source? Another news wire? Where was the notion born prior to the event happening? Is the ridiculousness of a BBC World reporter describing an event that hadn't happened somehow lost on Mr Porter? Was it a guess? A premonition? A bit of avant-garde reporting from 23 minutes into the future, going three minutes better than the favoured technique of Network 23's Edison Carter? Was it a first hand account? From a blind man, maybe?

Simply: What was the source for the BBC World News report that WTC7 had collapsed?
2. In the chaos and confusion of the day, I'm quite sure we said things which turned out to be untrue or inaccurate - but at the time were based on the best information we had. We did what we always did - sourced our reports, used qualifying words like "apparently" or "it's reported" or "we're hearing" and constantly tried to check and double check the information we were receiving.

No such use of the terms "apparently", "it's reported" or "we're hearing" were used in connection with the reported collapse of the uncollapsed WTC7 building. Even the caption stated the building had collapsed. Past tense. But, if BBC World checked and double checked the information they were receiving, as Mr Porter tells us, this means there will be an audit trail leading directly back to the original source of the information about the collapsed building that was still standing. Then again, if the BBC "no longer have the original tapes" of "the day that changed the world", perhaps not.
3. Our reporter Jane Standley was in New York on the day of the attacks, and like everyone who was there, has the events seared on her mind. I've spoken to her today and unsurprisingly, she doesn't remember minute-by-minute what she said or did - like everybody else that day she was trying to make sense of what she was seeing; what she was being told; and what was being told to her by colleagues in London who were monitoring feeds and wires services.

Maybe Jane Standley could use her high-speed BBC Internet connection to have a little dig around the web and see for herself what she said even though she can't quite recall now. Despite efforts to 'pull' copies of the video, it can still be found. The core issue here is not what Jane Standley said, but as highlighted above, the source of the information that gave rise to her fabricated report about an event that hadn't happened. It's not as if there weren't plenty of other 9/11 spectaculars upon which to report - say, for example, how two 110 storey steel and concrete buildings had been pulverised into what Jane Standley calls "snow" after having reportedly been hit by a couple of lightweight aluminium planes.
4. We no longer have the original tapes of our 9/11 coverage (for reasons of cock-up, not conspiracy). So if someone has got a recording of our output, I'd love to get hold of it. We do have the tapes for our sister channel News 24, but they don't help clear up the issue one way or another.

No further comment required. Oh, fuck it.... why not - the day that changed the world, the new Pearl Harbour, the attack on America, not one but four hijacked planes and the BBC has lost the tapes? For the record, the BBC's own policy statement on archiving material requires the retention of, "Two broadcast standard copies of all transmitted/published TV, Radio and BBCi output - one to be stored on a separate site as a master". Some going to lose both copies.
5. If we reported the building had collapsed before it had done so, it would have been an error - no more than that. As one of the comments on You Tube says today "so the guy in the studio didn't quite know what was going on? Woah, that totally proves conspiracy... "

Of course it was an error. What a great line to end on -- especially given his job title -- an offhand comment from a YouTube video. Shouldn't a little more be expected from the BBC than a trashy anonymous quote in response to serious questions about the provenance of the information that led to BBC World's amazing foresight with regard to their reporting of the collapse of WTC7, 23 minutes before it did?
Richard Porter is head of news, BBC World

Oh dear.

On the subject of the BBC's Conspiracy Files addressing of 11/9, it should be noted that the series producer for the Conspiracy Files, Mike Rudin, openly admitted about his research into the mysterious death of Diana, "I was right away impressed with just how little I knew". In what other profession is it possible to openly admit one's ignorance, much less how impressed one is by one's own ignorance, and still manage to hold down the job?

For the beleaguered BBC journalist floundering away in similar ignorance, The Antagonist recommends you take the time to watch one or two of your own TV series -- series from back in the day when the BBC wasn't afear'd to do something that vaguely resembled proper investigative journalism --and get up to speed on something that closer resembles the nature of the real world in which you live.

The story of the 23-minutes premature announcement of WTC7's collapse -- the original source for which is still unknown -- continues....
